Motor Homes

Our motor home insurance policy offering gives you a real sales advantage by providing important standard and optional coverages not available in typical auto policies, or in the stripped down RV policies offered by other companies.

If you purchase both collision and other-than-collision, you would be protected against most direct and accidental loss such as collision, fire or hail. We also offers these coverages: coverage for attached accessories such as awnings; emergency expense coverage; and campsite/vacation liability coverage.

We insure just about every kind of motor home on the market today, too, including:

  • Low value motor homes
  • High value motor homes
  • Motor homes up to 45 feet long
  • Older motor homes
  • Motor homes titled in a corporate name
  • Motor homes with multiple owners
  • Full-timers
  • Drivers over 70 years old with no surcharge
  • Drivers with minor violations

We accept more than 98% of all motor homes submitted (assuming acceptable driving record).

Features and Benefits

Features Benefits
Comprehensive and Collision Coverage Important coverage for damage caused by accidents, fires, smoke, floods, landslides, hail, windstorms, animals, vandalism, and low branches or overhangs.
Attached Accessories Coverage for awnings, satellite dishes, and other special items attached to their motor home or travel trailer
Coverage for Personal Property Provides comprehensive coverage for personal belongings, and in most cases don't require a deductible. Compare that to most auto policy riders which don't include this important coverage, and to homeowner policies, which typically place strict limits on off-premises coverage and require a sizable deductible to be paid first. Optional replacement cost coverage is available, too.
"New-for-Old Total Loss Replacement Coverage" If your motor home or travel trailer is brand new, you qualify for this optional coverage. It pays for a new RV -- no matter what the cost -- if the rig is destroyed within its first five model years because of an insured loss. That could save you thousands of dollars.
TraveLineŽ Towing & Roadside Assistance If your motor home, travel trailer, or tow vehicle is disabled anywhere in the US or Canada, then call a toll-free TraveLine for a tow or roadside help. Our policies also include high limits to cover the towing or servicing of larger RVs, and a "sign and drive" privilege that covers towing or roadside assistance expenses on the spot.
Emergency Expense Coverage Unlike typical auto policies, our RV policy pays for temporary housing or travel expenses to get your customer home if your RV is damaged while you are on the road. We'll even pay to transport your damaged RV to their home, a repair center, or a storage facility.
Full-Timer Insurance Package This special package offers broad collision and comprehensive coverage, and provides liability protection very similar to a homeowners policy. While an auto policy will only provide liability protection when an RV is being used as a vehicle, our policy covers your customers when they are parked and using their rig as a residence, too.
Coast-to-Coast Coverage and Claims You can call our toll-free claims number 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to reach our staff of trained RV claim representatives.
No Mileage, Age or Use Restrictions Some insurance companies get fussy if you use your rig often, are an older driver, or drive a lot of miles.
RV-trained Claim Adjusters Our claim adjusters are RV specialists and go through intensive training to learn how and where to get your RV fixed right the first time.
